That’s right, DJ Tiesto & Ferry Corsten ably supported by the likes of Crasher favourites Judge Jules, Eddie Halliwell, Matt Hardwick & Riley & Durrant, will be rocking the N/Ice Arena on Sunday May 1st. Crasher will be hosting a simultaneous event at the King’s Hall in Belfast, which Tiesto and Ferry Corsten will fly between on a private jet no less, making this the biggest and brashest Bank Holiday bonanza in the UK!
Tiesto who as been voted best DJ in the world for the last three years running by readers of DJ magazine, will be taking centre stage. The relationship between Tiesto and the Crasher crowd is a special one. With Crasher being the first club to bring him to the UK way back when, the club and the crowd feel rightly proud of the success in which they’ve played a part.
Ferry Corsten (no.5 in the world) who has also been part of Crasher line-ups since the start is the pioneer and a dynamic force in the electronic dance music industry and has made the clubbing scene what it is today with hits like Out of the Blue, Punk and the ever popular, "Rock Your Body Rock". He has also been in the top 10 DJ list in the last three years and never ceases to wow the crowds with his productions and musical sets. The world leading DJ pair used to work together as fabled production duo Gouryella, before becoming massive stars in their own right.
Crasher favourite resident and multitude music award winner DJ Judge Jules has found time in his busy schedule, which takes him the length and breadth of both the UK and continents around the world, to be part of his biggest Crasher party in the UK this year. Here’s another chance to see why he’s still one of the best after almost 20 years in the business.
Exclusive to the Nottingham gig is Britain’s newest A-list DJ, Eddie Halliwell. From humble beginnings, Eddie’s success has been limitless over the last three years, clubbers marvel as he cuts and scratches his way through a hard-edged set taking in trance, techno and hard dance.
Completing the line-up Crasher in Nottingham is stalwart Matt Hardwick and radio stars Riley & Durrant. Matt has been busy DJing all over the world in between honing his production skills alongside Smith & Pledger. And Riley and Durrant ‘s stock continues to rise with impressive production and DJ shows backed up by a regular show on Galaxy radio.
After a hugely successful, incident-free night in the palatial surroundings of Nottingham Arena back in November Crasher can’t wait to go back to what they see as the best arena in the UK. Last time out clubbers praised the venue for its lack of queues and attitude and its abundance of bars. The much-vaunted VIP suites will be back, where you and your mates can pay a bit extra and secure your private area with own seating and dancing area, complete with trolley drinks service!
