In Autumn 2017 Skiddle joined forces with CLASH Magazine for a monthly showcase at Metropolis Studios that hosted a live performance from the simply brilliant IAMDDB, a Manchester 'Urban Jazz' songstress, who at the time was still basically a newcomer, having dropped just a handful of projects, notably single 'Shade' which made the listening world's ears prick up with excitement.

Since the performance, IAMDDB has released and played live prolifically, and at the beginning of 2018 was a name on a lot people's lips; Beats 1 host Julie Adenuga has described her as “the most exciting artist to watch” this year, and the singer came third in the BBC’s Sound of 2018 list. 

In June of this year, another project was released from the Mancunian artist offering more woozy, laid back tracks, and a recent Instagram post saw IAMDDB pictured with none other than Drake, perhaps pointing towards what would be a sensational collaboration from the two of them.
