Berlin is not short of its quality nightclubs. Whether its techno temple Berghain or its more chilled counterpart Panorama Bar, the understated bliss of Club Der Visionaire or the renovated power plant Tresor, Berlin is pretty much the capital of clubbing in Europe, outside of Ibiza.

One such essential institution of clubbing is Watergate - a split-level, Spree-side destination for the city's natives and visiting house and techno fans. Lying somewhere between a hardcore sweatbox and a spangly discotheque, Watergate is a club that that stands out as unique, whilst its music policy continues to champion the freshest sounds from from both up and coming homegrown talent to entrenched techno royalty.

Watergate's arrival at Studio 338 sees them bring some of Germany's hottest DJs along with them for the ride, with a headlining slot coming from long serving brothers Tiefschwarz, whose groove heavy, melodious and quirky tech house continues to do damage in Europe's most judicious nightspots. The deft skills of Alex Niggemann will also be called in. The Berlin based technician has become renowned for furnishing clubs around the globe with his own take on stripped back, emotive dance music that puts the soul firmly back into tech house, as heard in his latest podcast for Cadenza Music above.

Elsewhere the line up is further bolstered by the arrival of some of Berlin's most consistent scene makers. The likes of Marco Resmann and Lee Jones bring some of their sonic insight into proceedings, with Watergate residents La Fleur and Ruede Hagelstein rounding off the killer line up.
