Also going under the moniker Tales of The Underground Warehouse Party, this New Year's Eve sees something very special take place at Leeds' iconic Beaver Works. With four arenas curated by four of Leed's most well respected and forward thinking clubbing brands, this is looking like a no brainer for your end of year blow out.
The Thrillseekers - Synaesthesia
Arena one will be hosted by the mighty Wax Format, the only vinyl-only trance and progressive night in the UK. Nothing quite compares to the thrill and excitement of a DJ playing wax, harking back to the old skool with visceral vitality. Some of the scene's most prominent figures from 1997-2006 head the line up in the shape of The Thrillseekers (check out his classic track Synaesthesia above), Gatecrasher favourite Matt Hardwick, Scot Project and Driftwood Ibiza's Sam Mitcham. Wax Format's arena will be like stepping back in time to the glory days of trance, when it was at its rawest, most pure and potent. Essential for genuine fans of the euphoric genre.
Jody Wisternoff - Intensified Mix
Arena two sees Jody Wisternoff of Way Out West fame head up Leeds based progressive night Inprogress take over. The Bristol based legend has in his career spearheaded the sound of progressive house and techno. His set is promised to be a three hour journey through past, present, and future sounds, as the long standing trendsetter takes to the decks in mesmerising fashion. He will be joined by man of the moment Simon Firth, GodsKitchen's Steve Arnold going back to back Andy Carson and much more to be announced. Fans of progressive and techno are in for a real treat.
Arena three features a whole host of up and coming future heroes starring the likes of Hiddenagenda, Ashley Bonsall, James Cottle and Alex Ryan, whilst Bambuka Disco take over arena four with a full menu of house and breaks.
Simply put, the Beaver Works is looking seriously impressive for this New Year's Eve.
