20 Years of Goodgreef
Manchester - We're Coming Home
In a throwaway culture where club nights, genres and even DJs themselves come and go literally overnight, to build a brand that not only stands the test of time, but becomes synonymous with an entire movement is a seriously impressive feat. Twenty years ago, Goodgreef did exactly that and has been
building on its historic legacy within the trance and hard dance scenes ever
since.
That infamous yellow logo that has toured every major city in the UK & beyond with accolades having been voted Mixmag's "Club Of The Year, City Life Manchester 'Club of Year' and recently winner of Skiddle's "Outstanding Contribution" Award under its bow. Goodgreef have booked the likes of
Tiesto, Hardwell, Paul Van Dyk, W&W, Sander van Doorn, Paul Oakenfold, Showtek, Headhunterz, Ben Nicky, Ferry Corsten, Lisa Lashes, The Tidy Boys amongst many of international headliners and has helped forge globally-successful careers from its resident talent of Eddie Halliwell, Alex Kidd, Jordan Suckley & Liam Wilson to name but a few. You can expect most of these artists returning to the place where it all started for a birthday party like no other in its spiritual home of Manchester on Saturday
28th March 2020.
Goodgreef will be host the first of their yearlong 20th Anniversary celebrations at Manchester's newest Underground Event Space, The Viadux, which is located a stone's throw from the Deansgate Locks area.
With a body shaking sound system, supported by copious amounts of Co2 blasts, an abundance of Lasers, special FX's and high spec light show this will compliment a huge line-up that represents an incredible 20 year journey and reads as a "who's who" of Trance, Hard House and everything in between, across two main rooms, a pre-party and Afterparty.
Backs have been scratched and strings have been pulled in order to bring together more than 30 of the scene's biggest as well as homegrown talent, with very special sets from Scot Project, who will be performing a "25 Years set' in the Main Room, to Proteus, who will be signing off both his final North England & indeed Goodgreef Xtra Hard Set before hanging up his headphones. You can also expect some exclusive back 2 back performances never to be witnessed again from an array of Goodgreef favourites, while last but not least we've managed to round up some of our much loved past residents, who will be performing this event for one night only.
With five months warning, you've got no excuses... Goodgreef will see you in Manchester for a birthday party like no other.
