Edinburgh will welcome a celebration of all things reggae, dub and sound system to its Old Town when Wee Dub festival hits the city in Spring 2017. A stellar Wee Dub line up will perform across various underground venues in the city, with the likes of Mungo's Hi Fi and Ragga Twins dishing out a healthy poriton of dub between Friday 3rd and Sunday 5th March.

Also on the bill is reggae stalwart Macka B, who released his 22nd studio album Never Played a 45 in 2015, while there's also a headline slot for Mad Professor. The producer has worked with Macka on multiple projects over the years, and will bring a bouncing dub show to the Scottish capital during his set.

Heaps of other reggae representatives will perform across four sessions, whilst BBC Radio Scotland's Vic Galloway will present the Dub Clinic at The Jazz Bar on Sunday 8th March. Here legends of the UK reggae scene, Channel One Sound System and Earl Gateshead, will take part in a Q & A about sound system culture, history and more. Grab Wee Dub festival 2017 tickets below.
