As we approach the tail end of what has already been a pretty special summer, August is beginning to rear it's head with an abundance of stellar events on the horizon. This time round there's a very definite influence of house music heroes Defected Records throughout the mix, opening with one of their summer smashes from Oliver $ in 'Pushin On' and then featuring a guest mix and interview from their very own Sam Divine, who hosts the Defected Radio series on Mixcloud.

She'll be playing when Defected in the House returns to Ministry of Sound on Saturday 9th August, alongside the irrepressible Masters at Work (the ticket box on this article is for this event). The label is also in Ibiza this summer, taking over Booom every Tuesday.
