It’s a Friday which means only one thing, another Weekends Matter Mix to help you end your week on a high. This time round we've opted for some raw grime courtesy of DJ Logan Sama.
He's garnered respect from artists within the genre following his support since the foundations of grime were built. You can always rely on Logan to give airtime to upcoming MCs and those top boys who are mingling with Pharrell Williams... Ahem, Skepta.

Needless to say, hoses are needed from the get-go as Kano spits fire with ‘Garage Skank’ over Zeph Ellis’ ‘XCXD BXMB’. Zeph (formerly Dot Rotten) could let any high-profile MC go in on that beat and superlatives would still be thrown his way.
Logan drops ‘Standby’ by Godfather of Grime Wiley followed by Skepta's ‘Top Boy’ which showcases why the Microphone Champion is turning into the UK’s golden boy in the States with this lively, braggadocio-filled hit.
As grime becomes more mainstream in its appeal, Logan set it back to its origins with President T’s ‘Kill Off Killy’. Prez might not be flying the flag for the genre across the world like Skepta but make no mistake, you are listening to one of the finest flows in the business.
This mix has a blend of hype lyrics and well produced beats that have got our arms flailing and heads bopping, now we just need a dancefloor...
Check out Logan Sama’s upcoming gigs.
