I finally made it to a festival this summer, check out my thoughts on Wireless. And there's one or two still to do this year too...

Festivals

Two huge dance music festivals this weekend to look forward to, with Electric Daisy Carnival and Cocoon in the Park (below) both set to welcome thousands... still time to join them. Later on SW4 will also be flying the flag for huge mega-raves, whilst Camp Bestival is a much more gentle option (check our top five picks for that).

Clubs

We love the smaller clubs, and the promoter of Carlilse's Uber provided us this great interview Southport Weekender will be doing their thang in former theme park Camelot in August, whilst across the other end of the spectrum Trance Sanctuary return in September, and there's also the stadium sounds of Porter Robinson to look forward to Autumn as well as a monstrous birthday from Godskitchen

Much sooner will be the techno genius of mUmU, whilst we've been delivered two great mixes, a dark disco selection from up and comers Autocycle and some German groove efficiency (sorry Brazil) from Reboot. We also wrote a love letter to one of our favourite DJs Green Velvet (check his .

Live Music

Synth pop superstars The Human League play live this weekend, with the glorious Bipolar Sunshine also heading out on tour. And one of my favourite rappers ever Ghostface Killah heads to Liverpool on Monday (watch his 'All that I got is You' below).

That's it for me this week, I'm off to make angry stares at the journalist responsible for making us all very jealous with a flurry of her joys in Croatia.
