Big sunshine vibes for this week, even more so when you crank out our latest mix from Murkage.
Wickerman Festival draws ever nearer, read Mike Warburton's paean to it here. This weekend Guilfest has a lot of cross genre brilliance lined up, and we sent one of our writers to bid a misty eyed farewell to Balado for T in The Park (watch Will Smith & Calvin Harris at that below).
Dance fans can rejoice as well, with big hitters GlobalGathering (read our Born Electric rundown) and Creamfields (and our Hardwell interview) coming up, Eastern Electrics now boasting a scintillating afterparty and Mint Festival rehoused in a much bigger location.
Whilst we're on the topic of raves, some monsters on the way. Ibiza has Cream's 20th Birthday to look forward to and Afrojack at Gatecrasher, whilst the Balearic spirit is carried on at Pure Pacha's run of events in Pacha London.
Also in the capital LWE announced a ridiculous techno fest with Drumcode and Awakenings, whilst we spoke with Anja Schneider before she plays their Summer in the City event next month (check her on that above). And the Midlands will see Chuckie come to Leicester and Face bring more genius to Birmingham.
Soul maestro John Legend is on tour this Autumn, as is Jess Glynne, and we're also excited about 80s disco funk troupe Shalamar in December. Sound Control in Manchester is also heading for a great run, with a flurry of metal shows and indie punk group Eagulls coming up shortly. Oh and I watched Ghostface Killah tear Liverpool limb from limb.
I'm off for a few weeks now, try not to miss me too much.
