Six weeks till Christmas, meaning Coke lorries, penguins and suspect WWI montages all in your grill over the next few weeks. Grab the antidote with some weekend frivolity, and we've got a pantheon of choices for you to do just that.
Anchorsong will hit London on Friday, whereas one day later in Birmingham sees the launch of the Portal Warehouse parties, the first of three on the way, whilst ravers in Edinburgh get Annie Mac Presents the same night (watch her playing for BBC Radio 1 below).
The North is looking tasty too - Ahora stars Route 94 and Catz N Dogz in Sheffield on Saturday (check our interview with the latter), whilst also in that there Yorkshire Detonate bring David Rodigan to Leeds. And in Liverpool you're spoilt for choice, with radio don Tim Sweeney and hip hop producer Statik Selektah both in the city on Friday.
We're giving away tickets to see Nicky Romero at Victoria Warehouse on our FB page at present, whilst we're rightfully impressed about Sankeys' NYE shenanigans. Manchester also gets ready for Pappa Sven hitting the city and Elektriks' End of Year Riot, all scintillating December soirees.
Down the road in Liverpool, Circus have got two corkers lined up over the festive period, whilst a little sooner we spoke to My Nu Leng who play one of Blu's free parties in Nottingham next month, and Christian Smith prior to hitting Egg London a week on Saturday. And then finally another cracker form Mixmag - this time helmed by none other than the Martinez Brothers .
As a final note, if you only do one thing this week make sure it's helping prevent Liverpool's Kazimier and Nation get bulldozed, full details here. Despite the council action they still need more signatures and support.
