The last newsletter of September can mean only one thing... PAYDAY!
The end of the month means you're spoilt for choice; go on treat yourself to a night out. Skiddle interviewees Nick Curly and Amine Edge & Dance are in Leeds and Sheffield respectively on Friday, as is Julio Bashmore in Bristol for Mixmag. One day later Danny Howard is at Ministry of Sound and Steve Lawler brings VIVA Warriors to Southampton - plus plenty more options here.
If you're thirsting for something a bit more live there's goodness from both SBTRKT (watch his new video 'New Dorp. new York' above) and Jungle Brothers in Manchester on Monday and Tuesday, whilst the midweek ravers can also get their grind on to Dusky in Edinburgh's Liquid Rooms.
Halloween is nearly upon us, and whether you want devilish drum & bass with Hospitality, terrifying techno with Drumcode or haunted house at Circus, you're well fixed. There's plenty more pun infused goodness in our special Halloween guide.
Festival season might not be quite over just yet but we're already thinking about next year, especially now Belladrum 2015 tickets go on sale tomorrow morning. Coming up a bit sooner is the Qube project which launches in London next month, whilst Blackpool Rocks added Martin Garrix to their line up and Hernan Cattaneo will be bringing his Balance tour to the UK.
Also of interest is this huge comp for drum & bass fans with Jungle Jam, the new Secondicty video (watch above), and we sent Mike Boorman to review Greg Wilson's Super weird showcase - his review is a must read.
I'm off to get locked in a caravan for a week... till the next time.
Get this in your inbox every week. Want to abuse Jimmy over the internet? Here he is on twitter.
