It's December! Instead of snow though there's roaring sunshine in Skiddle HQ... surely this can't last?

Hip-hop fans rejoice, M.O.P. are hitting the UK; Manchester and Liverpool on Friday and then Sheffield a day later for the Tuesday Club - read about their fantastic month ahead. Manchester also has the first of it's eclectic offerings from Mr Scruff (listen to him below) to look forward to on the same night.

On the rave tip Uber turn eight up in Carlisle with Eats Everything and Yousef, Apollonia are in Leeds, Stanton Warriors head to Manchester (read our interview with them), Defected get in a Glaswegian House, whilst Zutekh throw their final Soup Kitchen party of 2014. And down in London Familia throw their last shindig of the year - listen to our mix from their resident Fabio Ferro.

It's gone a bit crazy for next year. Fleetwood Mac are heading to the IoW Festival, Lionel Richie is at Glasto, Metallica will woo Reading and Leeds and U2 are on tour, blimey! We've also got tickets on sale for Loopallu up in bonnie Scotland and Soundwave over in sunny Croatia.

The NYE and Boxing Day events draw ever nearer too, and we spoke to some of the stars of those shows, including Gary Beck who plays mUmU Liverpool and Move D ahead of hitting Sankeys. We also took a look at what to expect at In:Motion in Bristol and Gilles Peterson's London end of year blowout - as well our NYE Podcast with a Laidback Luke guest mix.
