SOMY, Peach, Shhh… and Club UK are pleased to welcome two amazing upfront trance artists to the night time line up to follow on from the epic upfront house artists we have. So lets give a massive welcome to Metta & Glyde and Davey Asprey.
West Midlands born Davey Asperey is already a next level player with releases on A State Of Trance, F.S.O.E., Kearnage, Subculture, Damaged, Suanda, Black Hole and Whose Afraid of 138 plus remixes for Filterheadz, Markus Shultz, Ernesto vs Bastien and N20 vs Cell X. He has almost 50,000 followers on FB, 20,000 on Instagram and over 136,000 monthly listeners in Spotify. A very packed DJ schedule allows Davey to showcase his extreme technical talents, an art learnt after years spent watching his idol and first hero Eddie Halliwell. And it’s not just regular shows, it’s the elite of shows like Avalon in L.A., Grotesque Festival in The Netherlands and Anomaly in the UK.
It feels like this young duo have only been around for 5 minutes yet the impact they have made on the trance scene has been immense. Releases already on Aly & Fila’s F.S.O.E., Black Hole, Alter Ego, Tidy and many more, collaborations with Ronski Speed and Sean Tyas, remixes for Talla 2XLC and now proud owners of their own 140 Music record label- they are without doubt THE ONES TO WATCH. Their sound is the perfect balance of then and now-as if we were still loving 1998-1999 but mixed with the cutting edge technology that 2022 has to offer. They were also personally asked by Aly & Fila to close their Brighton show later in the year. The name may still be very new, but not forgotten once you have heard them live!
