Taste New Year's Day Party 2023

The team over at taste are cooking up a storm at Edinburgh Liquid Rooms, with their first New Year's Day Party since 2019! Soundtracked by DJs Fisher & Price, Martin Valentine, and Bruno FK, the night is set to be an eclectic mix of the very best current dance music as well as some Taste classics from the last 3 decades. With every facet of house music given a spot to shine, from prog house, to deep house, to funky house, whatever vibe the room is terminating, it's bound to send your feet into a two-step and your upper half into a groove. Brunchfest UK New Year's Day Party & Comedy Special

Brunches are often the best way to cure a hangover. Lots of incredible food, time to recount and laugh about the ninth before with your pals, and maybe just a few more beverages to ease the head. However, this year, the team at the Hanger in Wolverhampton are putting on a New Years' brunch to end all brunches. They've combined the fun of brunch with live comedy, for a match made in hunger heaven. Because laughing never made anyone feel worse now did it? Whilst the comedy lineup isn't out yet, there's a promise of big names, plus, the food sounds incredible. Caribbean food by Addassa Catering, Mexican food by Chloe'sKa Kitchen, and a range of sweet treats from Kartalicious. We're already salivating, so what are you waiting for? Secure that table!

If you're partial to a boogie when you go out, and you find yourself in Manchester come the first day of the New Year, then there's only one place you should be heading and that's Hidden. Even more so when you find out that the techno wizards of Teletech are going to be taking over. The local events icons have been playing Hidden for years and never fail to put on an excellent show. Now, in 2023, they've grown a reputation as one of the wildest and most respected techno parties in the UK. Whilst the lineup isn't out yet, it doesn't need to be with a reputation like theirs, so secure your tickets and spend the first day of 2023 in the dance, as when the lineup does drop, this will sell out quickly.

Moxy Muzik will be taking over Mint Warehouse come New Year's Day, for their first Terrace Party of 2023! These terrace parties have built up quite the reputation over the years, and nothing cements that more than having Darius Syrossian headlining the bill. Whilst you may think a terrace party in January is a crazy notion, don't worry, it will be fully covered and heated by the people grooving on the dancefloor, so it will be a perfect way to beat the winter chill. Plus, the event will be going on until five in the morning, so you can guarantee a walk home with the birds; If that's what you like. On New Year's Day, events brand You&Me have curated its biggest experience to date at one of Manchester's most iconic cultural hot spots, New Century Hall. Born in 1963, and now reborn in 2022, The Mancunian landmark was a 20th-century Acid House haven and now, returning for its next chapter, 2023 looks like it's all going to be coming up New Century. The nostalgic feel remains but now with a state-of-the-art sound system, mind-blowing lighting rig, and its original sprung dance floor. New Year's Day is always a crowd favourite, especially when You&Me are involved, but this looks set to be something else entirely!

What is a lock and Key event you may be thinking? Well. Ladies will be given Locks and the gents will be given keys! Throughout the night, your assignment is to party, vibe and find your match. Rare x Let It Bleed present: Mella Dee (New Year's Day)

Coming to the underground rooms of Unit 51 in Aberdeen this New Year's Day is Mella Dee. The Doncaster DJ produces no-frills garage and bassline house which whilst technically a throwback, feels like a breath of fresh air. The DJ won't be alone on this wicked night of groove, with Rythm and Erridan joining proceedings as well. So, if you find yourself in the land of tartan this January 1st, dust off the dancing shoes from New Year's Eve, find your funkiest outfit and kick off 2023 with a good old-fashioned boogie, you won't regret a thing.
