Newcastle based indie quintet Let’s Buy Happiness are next up. The thrillingly dark and twisted rockers have enjoyed an impressive start to their careers, having already played the John Peel stage at Glastonbury only a year after their debut gig. With a hugely successful summer tour under their belts, the female led outfit are a welcome addition to the original and varied Wickerman 2013 line up.
An explosive rock ‘n’ roll meets blues set is promised from The Temperance Movement. The British 5 piece are more than adept at deploying their ear damaging, emotive sound to the masses and will be an unmissable part of Wickerman’s rock line up.
They will be joined by energetic electro duo Cherub. Their irreverent approach to electro pop has certainly caused waves in the music industry and their high tempo, toung in cheek sound is sure to win over the Wickerman crowd.

The Reggae Tent is back again this year after 2012’s great reception. Explosion Sound System are now lined up to be hosts of the essential roots, reggae and dub venue. Sets featuring MC Ranking Fox, Ramon Judah, Leon D, Dub Foundry, Frankie Dread, Revelation, and Red Rasta Soundsystem are guaranteed to quench your reggae thirst.
Huge musical collective Blochestra will be returning to Wickerman due to popular demand. Hard hitting Scottish three-piece rock band Aventus will also be joining the line up with their own brand of retro rock and metal.
Other acts to look out for include Blowjangles, the Inishowen Ceilidh Band, The Gramophone Jass Band, The Kentucky Cow Tippers, rhythymnreel, Jericho Hill and Jason Dupuy.
The much loved Scottish festival is looking more appetising than ever this year.
