Wickerman Festival cranks up the temperature for its summer kick off on July 24th by adding yet more acts to its growing line up.
Co-headlining the Summerisle main stage will be influential seventies pop rock icons Squeeze. Dubbed the new Lennon and McCartney back in the day, the group set about writing and recording a slew of hits including 'Up the Junction' (below), 'Labelled with Love' and of course 'Tempted'.
Saturday will see Scottish singing legend Lulu hit the main stage. Embarking on her first solo tour in over a decade, the starlet will deliver a crowd pleasing journey through her immense back catalogue. Expect to relive some of her finest moments (her contribution to the James Bond theme tune canon being one) from her past 50 years of hit making.
Moving on from the Summerisle Stage, ska and punk arena, the Scooter Tent will now play host to celebrated punk poet John Cooper Clarke, former Crass frontman Steve Ignorant, Withered Hand, Youth Man, The Phantom Band, Paws, and psychedelic rockers Holy Mountain.
These all join the previously announced Tom Odell, Example and DJ Wire and The Waterboys (more on that here). Head here for your Wickerman tickets.
