On Saturday 2nd April, Freeze and Dig Deeper take over the iconic Liverpool Cathedral for a truly special event. And such a special event deserves an equally special prize, so feast your eyes over this little lot.
One lucky Skiddle reader will win a pair of tickets to the Freeze & Dig Deeper: Phase One Album Launch at Liverpool Cathedral, as well as invites to the exclusive afterparty and a meet and greet with the headline DJs.
But that’s not all. Oh no. They’ll also get a whopping £100 of Bench merchandise, plus an overnight stay in a top Liverpool hotel on the night of the event.
What’s more, the winner will also have the chance to attend an invite-only workshop during the day.
This event will be in the Cathedral's Well, where architect Sir Giles Gilbert Scotts stated a desire to blend the awesome and the intimate is at its most successful. Here you are flanked by the world's highest and widest gothic arches, sumptuous stained glass windows and a stunning view of the Cathedral's main space. Dance music simply doesn't happen in anywhere as magnificent as this.
Two international doyens of dance music will be the main focus for the musical tutelage of the evening. Hernan Cattaneo headlines, the Argentinean wunderkind touching down for one of the most awe-inspiring settings of his near thirty year career. Blending mesmerising melody and gritty grooves has become Hernan's signature, helping him to become the premier South American DJ and a global superstar to boot.
He's joined by Danny Howells, on his first return to the city after a scintillating six hour set for Freeze in September. The event provides the platform for the global launch of his Dig Deeper mix album and will be his last UK date in four months.
The music will be powered by a full Funktion One rig, with XTA/Mc2 designer Duncan Hamilton personally engineering the event alongside DMT sound hire. The Cathedral boasts a stunning capability for sound and this event will showcase its vicarious potential with jaw-dropping intensity.
A monolith of the city's skyline that took 74 years to build, the Cathedral is one of the most breath-taking feats of architecture in the whole of Britain and a figurehead for one of England's most historically relevant establishments.
