A ridiculously good line up is Leeds bound this summer, coming to Globe Road Car Park for a weekender that promises to showcase a genre traversing billing of acts from across The Globe.
World Island 2018 will take place across May Bank Holiday Weekend (Friday 25th - Sunday 27th May) and will see silky smooth contemporary soul singer Sampha take on headline duties on the opening night, with Toronto vibe makers BADBADNOTGOOD in main support, following a day of music that includes Kojey Radical, Tom Tripp and more.
On Day two, UK rapper Loyle Carner will put on a typically all encompassing show as he works through his stunning debut album Yesterday's Gone as he tops the bill following what will be an exquisite live set from Nightmares On Wax as the producer's Shape The Future show comes to his home town.
Finally, The Sunday will be headlined by New Zealand electro garage rockers Unknown Mortal Orchestra, easily one of the finest live acts around who are set to release their forthcoming album Sex & Food in April - they will be supported by funk and soul outfit Jungle who fans will be hoping are releasing new music of their own very soon.
