Wray and Nephew are bringing the flavours of Jamaica to Notting Hill Carnival when they bring their warm up party to Prince of Wales, South London on Saturday 23rd August.
The annual celebration that embraces the culture of the Caribbean islands sees Wray and Nephew close their 'Jamaica Rum Tings' series with lashings of street food on the Jerk BBQ, a trip into Jamaican culture with a visit to Wrays front room, vinyl from original reggae store Dub Vendor whilst maintaining the party atmosphere with Wray's house party style takeover.
Hosting the party is Liquid funk drum and bass purveyor Fabio who's spinning an exclusive Jamaica meets UK set, a longstanding member of the London party scene since the 80's, he pioneered drum and bass during his time on pirate radio and the BBC with his outstanding talents to wow audiences taking the rave to the radio, check him out below.
Adding to the carnival festivities is the reggae soundclash hosted by British rapper Normski with Rompas reggae shock, former Radio One Xtra hosts Skitz and Rodney P and special guests Digital Niyabinghi, Dub Vendor Allstars and Rootikal who head up The Roof Garden and Room Two.
