Everybody loves a festival, but let's face it, not all of us are cut out for camping. But fear not, there's no need for you to let the thought of roughing it for a weekend stop you from enjoying festival season - book yourself into a nearby hotel and be the cleanest and most well-rested festival-goer around. Cheating? Possibly. Comfy? You bet.

Thanks to the rise of city centre festivals such as Parklife, South West Four and New Look Wireless, finding accommodation near your chosen event shouldn't be a problem. Even the most rural of festivals have some kind of civilisation nearby, so there are always hotel or B&B options available.

Of course, the less hotels in the area, the faster they'll book up, so if you're adamant that nothing but a bed and a hot shower will do, you'll need to act quickly. Each individual festival guide on our site has nifty hotels tab too, which displays hotels with availability on the date of the festival, sorted by distance from the festival grounds. We've looked at four festivals to get you started.

Leeds and Reading Festivals return to their respective cities over the last weekend of August. Thankfully these are both pretty big cities with loads going on accommodation wise. But you won't be the only one searching for a comfy bed over the weekend of 28th - 30th August, so you'll need to act fast if you're going to get yourself a room at a reasonable rate.

Have a look at our hotels guide to find hotels near Leeds Festival and hotels near Reading Festival, and save dollar by booking online.

Parklife Weekender (check the video from last year above) has in its relatively brief existence grown to become one of the UK's most exciting outdoor events, drawing crowds from all over the UK to Manchester's Heaton Park. This year's event takes place over the weekend of June 6th-7th, and will see the likes of Disclosure, Wu Tang Clan, Ben Howard, Seth Troxler and loads, loads more perform over two days.

What's important to note about the Parklife Weekender is that there is no camping on-site, so if you're coming from outside Manchester you'll need somewhere to stay. Thankfully, Manchester has no shortage of beds to suit all budgets, but you'll need to be quick to get the best deal. See all hotels near Parklife here. Oh, and you can buy your Parklife tickets here if you haven't already.

The capital is host to no shortage of festivals this summer, with Wireless (above), SW4, Field Day, Lovebox and Calling Festival just some of the huge outdoor events taking over London's various green spaces.

Again, none of these festivals have a camping option so if you're heading to London for one or all of these events, you'll be needing somewhere to stay. Find hotels near New Look Wireless Festival, hotels near SW4, hotels near Field Day and hotels near Calling Festival here.

This is of course just the tip of the festival season iceberg, so for a full list of all UK festivals and nearby accommodation, check out our Festival Guide here.
