England’s capital city is full of wonderful happenings and surprises just waiting to be discovered. Here are a few tips to get you on your way.
London’s most renowned nightclub Fabric celebrates its 12th Birthday this weekend in true stratospheric style with three days of fresh, new, and underground music featuring the ‘who’s who’ in electronic today. Kicking off on Friday is FabricLive dubstep and drum & bass artists Caspa, Breakage, Mistajam, and Goldie amongst others, ready to raise the roof and get the bass vibrating. Saturday and Sunday are all about house and techno, with artists such as Craig Richards, Terri Francis, Ricardo Villolobas, Moodymann, Lee Foss, May Jane Coles, Ben Klock, and SoulClap taking the party way into the early hours of Monday morning. With a line-up as good as this, there’s no need to go home this weekend.

London’s first-ever ‘Chilli Stand-off’ will take place this weekend in Shoreditch, where eight chefs and restaurants will compete for the sought-after ‘Oakheart Trophy’ and will be declared the ‘UK’s Chilli Champion’. Competitors such as Mexican restaurant ‘Chilango’, Heston Blumenthaal’s flagship ‘The Fat Duck’, and Spitafields favourite ‘Leon’, will taste-test their way through a variety of different chillies blindfolded to determine the ‘Best-Tasting Chilli in Britain’. Drinks including unlimited amounts of the new Barcardi Oakheart rum, will be provided by Milk & Honey and Danger of Death, whilst the afterparty will be held at XOYO. Add some spice to your life and head down to the Chilli Stand-off.
