alt-J will take off on a seven date arena tour this winter.
Lauded for their avant-garde approach to pop, the band hit the right balance with second album This Is All Yours, the follow up to an Awesome Wave which bagged them a Mercury Prize.
Featuring radio buzzers like 'Every Other Freckle', 'Left Hand Free' and the quite spectacular 'Hunger Of The Pine' (above) that tastefully samples Miley Cyrus, it will be the first time the album the album has been showcased in the mighty confines of the UK's major live music forts.
They'll be supported by the shoegaze swirl of The Horrors, plucking from their hazy library of hits that make up the track listing on last year's acclaimed Luminous LP.
UK tour dates below:
Manchester - Central, Sunday 29th November
Bournemouth - BIC, Tuesday 1st December
Exeter - Westpoint Arena, Wednesday 2nd December
Cardiff - Motorpoint Arena, Thursday 3rd December
Leeds - First Direct Arena, Sunday 6th December
Glasgow - SSE Hydro, Monday 7th December
