I am terrified of balloons and never expected the dancefloor to be full of them ... after 15 minutes of having a panic attack i had to leave with my partner . I was so disappointed as music was brilliant .

Review of HAUGMANAY Aberdeen

It was a really nice night out, with a wide range of music for the over 30s.

As a regular of the disco days it was nowhere near as good as the original, John mcruvie should stick to funerals because his music choice was terrible. I will never go out on Hogmanay again after that.

Upstairs was closed, it was not busy and there was no 90s music played just 70s and 80s and did ask the dj to play some 90s music but he did not  so missed the upstairs for the music and the drink prices were more than I would normally pay when at day disco's. I did like the piper but that was all that was good

My sister and I were late 30's and felt music was dated at times. We were hoping upstairs may have been open to add variety (90's/00's). There were others we passed upstairs that felt this way to see it closed. It was a real shame, love coming to these events.

The only criticism I had was whenever I/we went to the bar for a drink we were charged different prices for the same round of drinks!

The only criticism I have being an Occupational health nurse is the volume was too loud.  Firstly, you couldn't be heard by the bar staff or speak with one another in our group.  Our ears were ringing for 2 days after with temporary tinnitus and your staff are being exposed to hearing damage (Health & Safety Executive).  Perhaps you need to carry out risk assessments for this to cover  yourselves going forward?  Otherwise, absolutely FANTASTIC! xxx
