Review of Banff Castle Rocks
First impression was that the venue felt disjointed.There was a large area of grass not being used and people were all seated in one area.i assume there was good reason for this but we thought it would have been better using the whole grass area so people had more room.The stage area didn't have enough room for all, there were a lot of older people and I saw some wheelchair users, where were they to go? We weren't the only people who were commenting on this!
Perhaps more toilets and food van choice, the queues because longer as the day went on.
However, on the plus side, the large marquee was a bonus,some day festivals don't provide these.Also the fact that it was a cash bar(hooray,somebody sensible at last!) and that every drink seemed to be the same reasonable price,good thinking! Bar staff were also pleasant.
We always like to enjoy ourselves,which we did,but frankly it left us a wee bit disappointed..

Fantastic day!Over all I think was well organised.Any of the security staff,helpers I spoke to were very courteous and helpful.Everything seemed to run smoothly.Maybe next time could we have a couple of additional loos for disabled?
I have a "can't wait card" I could show.

Would have been loads more enjoyable if they hadint put the stage behind the castle it was too small and we got wristbands but could not come and go which would have been better considering the leanth of time we had to stay at the venue a little break away for food that was not deep fried would have been better but I still enjoyed the music

The venue was not what we were expecting. It wasn't ideal that the bar/seating area was separated from the stage. We were expecting a grassy area with stage. More toilets would also be an advantage, the lady did a great job keeping them clean. We had a good day and band choice was excellent

Great day organisation was excellent but I would definitely look at a better position for stage so everyone can enjoy or have it live streamed on another screen at the front of castle with more speakers as you couldn't here the bands in the main area at all. Having said that I would definitely attend again. Staff were fab the organisation of the beer tent was great. Oh possibly just another food van aswell.

Review of Banff Castle Rocks
We had an amazing time! Sore muscles today from all the dancing, jumping and raised hands! Spent most of our time in the court yard and the atmosphere in there was fab... the bands were absolutely brilliant. To make this event fully accessible, more festival like and even better, the organisers should consider using the whole grounds with the stage out in main area rather than tucked away in yard to allow everyone to see and hear properly and for the bands to see their whole audience. Huge potential to make this an excellent annual event.
