Bravely going where no one (Latvian) has gone before, Gita shares her hilarious experiences of moving to Glasgow, and her first time experience of some of Scotland’s delights, its people, and their unique - if sometimes baffling - humour. From a Latvian point of view.
Gita’s rise in the world of comedy has been nothing short of remarkable, considering her very first stand-up performance was only in March 2023.
By February 2024 she had performed over 130 times in comedy clubs throughout Scotland; in March 2024 she performed alongside fellow rising star comedy impressionist MARK BLACK in front of 1300 people at the iconic Glasgow Pavilion Theatre; and April 2024 saw the beginning of her journey supporting top TV stars like KAREN DUNBAR.
