Tick*t stated performance started at 9pm. Arrived to find the band had come on at 8.30, so missed most of the first half. C***king second half though. Knew they were good as had seen them previously a few years ago. Good mix of songs from the various incarnations of both Purple and Rainbow over the years.

Son Henry returned to wrap up his UK tour, in Aberdeen, where it started about three weeks previously. Great two hour plus set, showcasing his fantastic abilities on guitar, banguitar and lap steel. Hopefully, he doesn't leave it too long for another visit. Nice change to see tables and chairs set out giving the gig a relaxed feel.

Excellent performance from a guy who was a great favourite in Aberdeen until he returned to the United States 10 years ago. Great to see him on tour this side of the Atlantic. One of these performers that draws you in and makes you feel glad to be there.

All 3 bands were fantastic, in fact the best line up I've seen in ages! Fab friendly atmosphere great sound guy, fab mix of music.
