Review of Enjoy Music Festival 2016
I feel like it was a waste of money. Tickets were expenive and one of the main acts pulled out and example took ages to come on. Heaps of folk left really early. The price of drinks were horrific and 12.50 for a bowl of ice is shocking.

Gutted Tinie had to cancel, not impressed that word of mouth was how we found out. Keeping us waiting over an hour in the freezing cold for example to come on when he was already in the park wasn't on either.

Review of Enjoy Music Festival 2016
Nice festival in early days, well organised in a nice park setting, surrounded by trees, smooth entry although could be better signposted to get to event, once inside, nice staff walking round selling bar tokens and bars had very little queues so that was great. There was a good variety of music in different tents and main stage so something for everyone whether you wanted to bust some moves in a dark dance tent or chill in the sun on the clean grass in front of main stage. The toilets could have been cleaner at times, if you shopped around a bit you could find a decent one though as there was a cleaner on site, would have liked to see more toilet cleaners and litter pickers though. There was a bit of shortage of food choices, enough to get by but being a foodie I did think there could be more choices, also be nice to see some festival stalls selling hats and fun stuff, there was some fun stalls this year though , so can only grow better, look fwd to seeing what next year has to bring....
The price was fair for what you get, pretty cheap as festivals go but par with what you get... As it gets bigger and better I expect prices will rise in line with this but for now you really cannot complain, totally worth it.

Great day weather brill, but dissapointed to find out at 8pm that Tinie Tempah wasn't appearing also a lot of the artists seem to have been cut short and too long a wait for Example to come on. Maybe should have back up artists or have the ones that played play for longer.

The event overall was really well organised. The only complaint I have was the wait for getting served at the bar - 25 minutes at one point. Further bars were really required around the site. If they run the event again I would definitely go. Great music, atmosphere and crowd.

Plus points, I have OCD when it comes to toilets and normally only go VIP to festivals to get trailer toilets but was actually able to use these portaloos as they were not bad and the toilet roll was kept topped up so good effort there. Would like to see more stalls for food (pancake stall or something) and maybe a wee stall selling fun hats and general fun stuff. Bar queues were long but kept everyone reasonably sober, so was probably a good thing, was disappointed there was no wine though although I did survive on gin and tonics! The music was good but think the main stage should have been more into the middle of the field to give better sound, the stage being crammed up against the fence meant that I may have got better or same sound sitting on the non paying side...pitch was bit high at times too but not sure if that was down to the individual bands sound equipment, was still good though. The litter never got out of hand which was nice and security levels and policing seemed about right. I would go next year if it is being done and would be happy to pay slightly more for an exclusive area with trailer toilets. Also think camping chairs should be allowed, actually saw people with them so not sure why it said no camping chairs but then people did have them. A stall selling infaltable chairs would be cool. Look fowrad to next year.

I really enjoyed this event. It was good to have a festival atmosphere and something fun to do in Aberdeen. I think it was well laid out and organised. My only negative point would be the 1 bar to serve 3000 odd people, the queues were insane and took forever even though the bar staff were working their butts off. This was annoying but didnt retract too much from my over all enjoyment of the day! Hopefully this can become a yearly event as it was great.

The cost of the ticket was quite high for what you got out of it. A lot of DJ sets and not too many live bands. It was a bit of a shame you couldn't leave and come back. That would have made the experience much better as I would have came earlier in the day.
