Cumbrian chamber choir, The Wordsworth Singers, head north of the border to Ayr and go all American for this programme of sacred and secular music on themes of love, life and new hope - a mesmerising mix spanning the jazz rhythms of Bernstein's Chichester Psalms to the calm and meditative sound worlds of Philip Glass, Morten Lauridsen and other composers from the USA. Directed by Andy McTaggart, with Dida Condria at the piano.
