Review of Boogie Bingo Live! Grease vs Dirty dancing - Barnsley 1/12/23
The bingo Hall was really dated nothing modern in it. No qr codes to order food or drink you had to join a big slow que to get get. Shorts were sold in a can with a mixer. Time between sessions wasn't long enough to join the bar que so if 2 of you 1 ended up playing 2 cards. Bit hard at times. The man doing the show part was entertaining. You had to wear an event bracelet to stay at the end but saw a good few no bracelet. Which sadly is a mockery for those that had paid to be there. They never checked for braconce.

The night was fantastic but I was really disappointed with the drinks. Due to medical conditions I can't drink alcohol or fizzy pop. Your establishment did not do any soft drink only water so I went the entire evening without a drink.

This was advertised as a spice girls themed event, I was informed that the tribute act had cancelled but the DJ would be playing spice girls as this was the theme of the evening. The group I attended with all took time and effort to purchase items relating to spice girls so we could dress up to match the theme but unfortunately if we heard 3 spice girls songs all evening that was being generous. It is a shame as we were all slightly disappointed and heard others saying the same. The atmosphere was fantastic but some sort of spice girls theme would have made it even better seen as though it was advertised as a spice girls event.

Brilliant fun night
Price of event is good but the food and drink are highly priced £5 for hot dog no onions or sauce
4 cans of c**ktail £15 when u can get similar at supermarkets for less

The Mc was really good what spoiled it for me was the member of staff that thought it was OK to make inappropriate comments to me and kept telling me what time he finished work he also kissed me on my cheek whe n he was questioning me ive honestly never felt so uncomfortable especially when l did tell him I was uncomfortable and engaged
