The Civic

The Civic is Barnsley's multi-functional arts centre, showing theatre, music and comedy from the region and the UK - cinema to blues bands to family days out. We've also got an amazing art gallery space, Gallery@, which has cutting edge exhibitions of photography, design and fashion, and our Panorama gallery is dedicated to local artists. The spaces we have can be used for weddings, photo shoots and business seminars too. The Civic is about so much more than performances and exhibitions, a regular programme of workshops runs alongside our events, so there's always something to get involved in.
