Although my ratings seem average, I had a fine time at 23 Bath St. again. Having followed the Plumps for two decades I was excited that they were playing in Frome at my favourite local venue, Bar 23. I managed to get away from work early especially as I've previously had storming nights there with Rennie Pilgrem & Nuts & Bolts. Tonight didn't quite have the same atmosphere and I've heard the Plumps play stronger sets. Tommohawk finished the night well for the crowd who had stayed on till the 3am close.
I really hope that Bar 23 can bring more pumping dance nights to Wessex, I very much enjoy the vibe and style of the place and I've pounded their dancefloor to full effect till the close every time.
