It was my first visit to Moles club to see a couple of bands play, (i used to deliver beer here back in the day) i was surprised how close to the stage you are which is a bonus, the acoustics were great too, each tap of the bass drum pedal went right through your chest as they (System Of Slaves) were testing the kit ready to warm the crowd up for the legendary anarcho punk band Subhumans. System Of Slaves didn't dissapoint, a brilliant little outfit from Wales which stood in as a last minute replacement. I was blown away by Subhumans, such a good live band who reside from my hometown of Melksham and the like. The other benefit of a venue like Moles is that the band members mingle with the audience too. I got to meet all members of both bands and also manged to get a few pictures with D**k Lucus who kindly let me have his copy of the set list! If like me you have never visited Moles club to see a band i would highly recommend it, believe me when i say you will definitely have an eventful evening.
