I am a skater and I think this was more of a social drinking event. Drinks being carried around by new skaters struggling with balance and being spilt on the floor. With no control.
The music was very good and although the venue was small so speed could not be built up it was cozy and allowed for fun. Many people looked like they really enjoyed themselves but was not for me
