Review of The Shania Twain and Garth Brooks Tribute Show
What a disappointment! Far too many large round tables with chairs for the space. You could barely squeeze through people seated to find/get back to your seat. Can't understand how this venue passes fire safety. Show was to start at 8.30, eventually started at 8.55. 'Shania' was very good and sang for around 30 mins. Then 'Garth' came on. No idea what was wrong but he was obviously 'off' from the very start. Quite agitated, constantly drinking water, sang 2 songs (some thought he was miming)and then anAdele song (how weird), after 20 ish minutes he went off announcing a short interval...what? Why would 2 alternating artists need an interval? (Obviously for bar revenue - even though they'd already ran out of some drinks before the interval)! They were off for ages, at one point we heard Shania was at the bar drinking tea and would be on in another 20 mins. That came and went. At 10.35 we gave up and left. Politely voiced our disappointment on the way out and were treated with disdain! In fact the young man was downright rude and sneered at us. And to top it off as we were getting off the gangway who was in front of us posing for photos but 'Shania'..still nowhere near on stage then! We had taken 2 friends from Scotland and were embarrassed at the shambles of an evening this turned out to be. Poor effort Belfast Barge! Needless to say we won't be back or recommending this as a venue.

Enjoyed the entertainment. Nice intimate venue. Who likes the price of drink these day, cost was in keeping with most venues. Think it will be perfect for the comedy events and looking forward to attending in the future

Far too overcrowded and drink far too dear. £23 for a bottle of wine!!! Tribute act came on half an hour late then took a very long interval didn't feel we got our moneys worth. Would def go see shania again she was fantastic. Met a lovely couple and had a good fun wee night with them. Would go to barge again and would recommend it but need to not sell as many tickets and drop drink prices.
