Westbourne Glentoran Supporters Club venue information

The Westbourne was founded around 1944/45 by a group of Glentoran supporters which included D,Crothers, G,Crothers, T,Service, J,Young, B,McCambley, Hugh Harvey, A,Gregg and D,McCool. The venue then was in Manderson Street and from that original spot they moved to Bloomfield Bar and then to the Belvoir Bar at Newcastle Street. They moved to the Hastings premises at Templemore Avenue(Avenue One) and from there to (The Farmers Rest) Ma Sheridans (now known as the Cock and Hens), the old Albert Bar then a short stay in the Oval changing rooms. They could then be retraced back to the Cock and Hens and The Albert Bar where they then obtained their own premises on the Newtownards Road.
