About

A SPECTACULAR LOCATION Anyone who has been to the Northumberland coast will be well aware of the sheer magnificence of the scenery. Located in a recognised Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), our festival site overlooks the mythical & magical Holy Island, boasting breath-taking views stretching from Goswick Sands to the North, to Bamburgh Castle to the South. A HUGE LINEUP We pride ourselves on have a truly eclectic mix of both old and new music from a range of different musical genres (indie, rock, soul, funk, blues, folk, reggae, jazz, hiphop, dance, house & more!) 2016 saw over 60 music acts take to our stages across the weekend - and this year you can expect even more music as well as an even bigger lineup of comedy, workshops & wellbeing activities. AN INTIMATE SETTING With a not-too-big-and-not-too-small capacity of 2500, Lindisfarne Festival is an intimate, boutique festival. But that doesn't mean we don't put on a damn good party! We’re exceptionally proud to be able to say that some of the UK’s best musicians, DJs and bands want to come and rock our festival, and your world. There'll just be no standing 30km from the stage - because where’s the fun in that? Instead you'll be able to get up close & personal and really 'feel' the music! Our small but perfectly formed site is made up of 7 marquee venues, dispersed around our outdoor Circle of Inclusion and scatttered with delightful food & market stalls. AN IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE We may only be an hour away from the city - but we're a world away from reality! When you step foot onto the festival site, the rest of the world and all of it's problems will disappear. You'll be immersed in a world full of positivity, happiness & love; Love for music - love for nature - love for each other! You'll be taken on a mind-bending voyage; emotionally, physically and spiritually. Leave 'real life' outside of the gates. Forget all your worries, let go of your inhibitions and enjoy every moment of freedom and fun within our festival walls. A WELCOMING COMMUNITY Come with your friends or come on your own. Either way, you'll feel welcomed and included at Lindisfarne Festival and you're sure to have an incredible experience. With a relaxed and friendly atmosphere throughout the entire site, we go above and beyond to make sure each and every one of our guests feels safe, secure and at home in our community. That's part of the Lindisfarne Festival magic. REGIONAL DELIGHTS Located in beautiful Northumberland, we've got a whole host of regional delights on our doorstep! From local talent to local cuisine (and of course the infamous Lindisfarne Mead!), we'll be bringing you the very best the North East has to offer. EMERGING TALENT We're proud to provide a platform emerging artists and bands to showcase their talents amongst a lineup of established and acclaimed performers. Be sure to check out some of the fantastic up and coming acts and show your support for the next generation of break-through artists. NEW EXPERIENCES They say life begins at the end of your comfort zone... and it's our aim to take you over that line. Whether it's just a small step toward a new genre of music, or a giant leap into an afternoon rave amongst the hay bales - come and get a taste for something new! There's certainly no shortage of things to discover.
