Review of Fireworks & Food Alvechurch

The relentless and overly loud music was annoying and the "street food" was average and overpriced. Otherwise, the fireworks display would have been great if it weren't for the misty conditions (can't be helped) but this was made worse by keeping the laser show / searchlights on throughout the show which in conjunction with the mist just glared the fireworks out and made them harder to see.

Great night but food and drink is abit pricey

No parking was an issue especially with a baby. Dangerous walking up the road in the dark with no street lights. Venue should be no smoking with a smoking area, people smoking everywhere.

One of the worst events I've been to in a long time. We paid for tick*ts but nobody was checking. Could've just walked in for free. The crowd was horrendous. Massively over filled venue full of horrible people. Any fireworks show where you need patting down and metal detecting at the entrance can't be good. Then there's the parking. Or lack of. The entire road out of alvechurch was packed on both sides. We parked at least a mile away. When we left there were cars just abandoned in the road so it had become a single lane and cars that arrived early were blocked in. Complete chaos. Oh yeah, the fireworks were terrible too. Seemed like they'd just been down to Tesco & bought stuff over the counter.

Music was ok. They sold too many tick*ts and was so crowded could hardly move and the viewing for fireworks was terribly arranged won't be returning

Fantastic night

Excellent event and really spectacular fireworks. Slight niggle that the fire artists were mainly on one side of the pitch for most of the time and so lacked a bit of impact for a lot of people watching so maybe a few more performancers for the warm up. But I was really impressed and will go again next year for sure.

Fireworks only lasted 20 minutes and couldn't see fire breathers because fences were too high.
