Review of TREX show @ The Midlands Art Centre (MAC) - Sunday 12th Nov

Unfortunately there was a pillar affecting the view of the stage.

although we experienced rude staff from the VENUE - the TREX show outweighed this - the actors were brilliant, friendly and super professional !!! ...such a great interactive show - my children absolutely loved it,from a 2yr old toddler to us 'adults' THANK YOU!!! look forward to attending another event.

I just felt the tickets were overpriced for the actual production. Firstly it was advertised as Trex show and there was no Trex in sight. The venue was not practical for small children, we were on the second row and the kids could barely see behind the grown ups in front of them on first row, we had to constantly hoist them up on our laps. The show team were lovely and friendly and engaging but I expected more... I would've like to see a more variety of dinos rather than one type (velociraptor). I would've like to see a better backdrop than just black drapes to set the scene. Perhaps some 'fossils'. My kids are 6 and 4..both were quite scared of the dinos which was half expected but they didn't really take away much from it. It was quite noisy... Obviously it being a kids show, the presenters were not mic'd up so they'd have to shout over the noise. The show time stated was 3-4.30pm but it was over in just under an hour. Not great value for money and I wouldn't go again. However can't fault the staff, just the production was lacking.

It was a great interactive activity for kids mine (7 &4) loved it , they couldn't do it in the hall they actually planned so location was compromised but still no complained the presenters was very energetic and friendly , just one suggestion try to get more kids to take part in games , the kids who were not chosen were left disappointed, may be leave the parents out of the games , I know it's fun but just to get more kids to take part as it's a huge deal for young kids who attended

Shame it was not in the correct theatre, lost a lot on atmosphere. Presenters did excellent job to overcome this.

Well where shall I start... from start to finish it was ( AMAZING ) we was a family of four they included us all in the activities and lot of  factors of dinosaurs
