This is my first time at this event we used to go to the sanders park event. It was a lovely event well lit and laid out . The fair only had one ride for teenagers and was very expensive but they enjoyed it. The fire was fantastic the fireworks good . The only issue was getting food and drinks the queues were ridiculous the donut queue was the worst we got food then would have to queue again for a hot drink. It just needed more stands.

Absolutely terrie ! Extortionate costs, fair put the prices up twice for the same rides. Couldnt pay by card although it was advertised, fireworks were a real let down. The rugby club food was small burgers on a large bar for 5 pounds spent 55 minutes queuing only to get to the front and told we had to join a different queue for their drinks less than a metre away.
It was one big con to get as much money as they could for what could only be described as a naff display. Will never go again

Been for many years and loved it. Unfortunately this year, fireworks were boring...all the same. £6 just to get in would be fine for previous years, but this year it was not worth it.

Fireworks didn’t last long. Queues for drink took 45 mins or more. Then people would push in. The venue itself is good.

You couldn’t move. You couldn’t see to move.We didn’t even try and get a drink because queues were huge.and we were told drinks were very expensive.
Fireworks were great but would have. been much better put to music

The only fault I could find within this event is that there was no accompanying music to the fireworks- but there may have been an unknown reason for that. The venue wasn't packed, the food options were lovely and not overpriced. A great family night out 👍

The bonfire at the rugby club has lost its charm. It used to be what felt like a we managed local fire. Now with the introduction of fare type rides and the like it is now less attractive. Food and drinks proces too high and queues too long.

Excellent bonfire and fireworks. Atmosphere was amazing but must admit the prices were rather steep when you stayed in the queue for food for an hour

Far too busy and commercialised, used to be much better atmosphere when it was smaller and everyone was local, now you have to queue for at least 30 minutes for a drink or any food

First time we have been and to say I was totally disappointed is a understatement. Had way to many people attend, could not physically move as was way to packed. Children could not get on rides as was to packed and ques were way to long, ALOT of under age kids drinking alcohol (in my sons year at school and below) only one stand for alcohol drinks ques we’re horrendous and then had to que at another stand to get soft drink, while main bar inside was apparently not selling soft drinks at all?? The fireworks were very basic and over very quick. In all did not enjoy the night especially when it’s meant to be a family event and they we’re getting squashed to walk anywhere.

As an ex-playing member of BRFC, it is always good to see how the club is going in these uncertain times, and this bonfire night was a real success from my point of view. Great atmosphere and a wonderful firework display. Well organised and administered, with, I believe, some 6000 people in attendance. Well done to all involved in planning and running it, fabulous evening. Thank you
