About

Come to the eagerly awaited return to King's Heath on Sunday 20 November of the award winning West Midlands group Out Of The Shadows after their previous performances had the audience dancing in every conceivable space! Doors open at 2.30.p.m for a special show starting at 3 pm at Cartlands Independent Tea Rooms in the centre of beautiful Kings Heath Park. Expect to hear nearly 3 hours of great rock'n'roll music featuring some of the greatest vocal hits from the late 1950's onwards including Eddie Cochran's “Summertime Blues”, The Searchers' "Needles and Pins" and Dire Straits' ”Walk Of Life” along with a string of top instrumental hits including The Shadows' “Apache” , “Wonderful Land” and “Cavatina – Theme From The Deer Hunter”, Fleetwood Mac's "Albatross" and Jean Michel Jarre's "Equinox". Hailing from Stourbridge, they have regularly been voted Top Club Act by regional club entertainment officers and audience members and count Led Zeppelin's Robert Plant as one of their many admirers. If you have not seen them before, don't miss out on a great Lazy Sunday Afternoon's entertainment brought to you by King's Heath Walk Of Fame at a new venue of Cartlands Independent Tea Rooms in the beautiful surroundings of King's Heath Park with Bar and food available. Number 11 and 35 buses stop outside the park entrance on Vicarage Road and the number 50 stops 5 minutes walk away outside All Saint's Church at the junction of High Street and Vicarage Road. There is a free car park that can be driven into via Vicarage Road with the entrance just before that to King Edwards Camp Hill School for Boys. Advance Tickets cost £5 cash from Cartlands Tea Room or £5.50 from www.wegottickets.com/event/561651 Any remaining tickets will cost £6 on the door. Bar and food available.
