About

If you don’t know who Graham Reynolds is, then now’s the perfect time to find out about the “quintessential modern-day composer”.

Director Richard Linklater’s composer of choice, most famously working with him on acid-trip live-action A Scanner Darkly, and Before Midnight (see our “Before…” trilogy marathon on March 12th), Reynolds takes to the Hare and Hounds stage to perform his first proper solo EP.

Turning the show into a fully-rounded, immersive experience, video artist Innerstrings will be providing the accompanying aesthetics to Reynold’s sonic stylings from Music for Prophet (Parts 1-4), some deep cuts from his hefty back catalogue and selected compositions from his work on Linklater’s films.

Joining Reynolds on the night is Scott Johnston (Haunted Screen Records), performing his live score to THE ARRIVAL - a joyous UFO-centred educational film by San Diego new age cult UNARIUS.

The score will be performed on a vintage Soviet AELITA synth (a monophonic analog synthesizer manufactured in the Soviet Union in the 80s), and the event will double as the launch of Scott’s new album. AND you can bag yourself a limited edition vinyl cassette of the album on the night.

Age restriction: 14+ / 14 - 16s accompanied by an adult
