Great gig, brilliant music played, was a real reminder of Summer... had a great time! Next we will come earlier and have food in the pub downstairs, the Sunday lunch looked amazing!

i had the pleasure of going to the hare and hounds to see Australian rock 'n' blues band The Southern River Band, wow! at the age of 63 i have seen so many bands over the years from AC/DC , Quo (32 times), Queen, loads of other rock bands and blues guitarists like Gary Moore, Laurence Jones, Joe Bonamasssa all of whom have been brilliant but i have never seen a band as good as these before combined with a great small venue, they new just how to make the audience feel like they were part of the band and they play all their own stuff and you would be amazed by the quality of each song, especially Stan Qualen, probably the best rock track ever written and Chimney, Vice City, Chasin' After Love, Streets Don't Lie, F.U.Pay Me,. in a great little venue with great sound and great atmosphere, good staff and toilet and bar and merch stall all there and accessible at all times. i would go to this venue everytime i wanted to see a rock and blues band because you are part of it and not stuck miles away in a to big place that cost ridiculous money just to park and drink. well done hare & hounds and when you get the southern river band back here let me know i will definitely be there again. thanks, Vern
