Great night, food as usual was very good. Bar ran out of some drinks a d should have been clearer what was included in the ticket but no issues overall.

Very impressed with the set up at Hockley Social Club. One of our aims at the CBSO is to engage with new audiences in new contexts. Last night was the first of what so hope will be a series of collaborative events. Until the next time!

Review of Hockley Social Club
Booked this venue for a team night with work. The Hockley Social Club team were outstanding: from the team who dealt with my requests perfectly before arrival, to the door staff who were welcoming, funny and explained the covid rules expertly, to the host who was so friendly and helped us to get the best table for our group, to our server who was knowledgable about the food and drinks menu and made amazing recommendations for us all while making us all smile and laugh all night, to the food vendors who provided us exceptional food, to the bar/cafe artum who supplied us with amazing drinks all night. Thanks so much for making our first team night in 18 months so special guys we will be back

I HATE reviewing especially when it’s negative but - The worst place I’ve been (still in disbelief of how poor the service was!). Although we had booked our table for 7pm, we were made to wait over half hour outside. The security staff were just as confused as those waiting. We waited around over 2 hours for our drinks and asked several staff several times regarding the wait. The staff disregarded us and often didn’t get back to us or came back to say everyone is waiting. We received our food (which was delicious) but no drinks. After speaking to the manager, the second time, they advised that our order didn’t go through - although we had received one drink (for one person with us) from an alternative bar in there on the same order. We were advised that we could wait another 40 minutes for our drinks or be refunded two days later IF we reminded them via email. We appreciated that it was very busy and that there would be a wait but everyone around us had drinks and we had none, not even one with our food. It was complete chaos and poorly managed. The They didn’t resolve the situation as they should have and haven’t even apologised. We have currently received half
Of the money back for the drinks we didn’t get.

Despite booking a table we were not seated at a table for 35 minutes after our booking time. We then had to wait 1 hour and 45 minutes for our drinks to arrive and had to ask 2 staff members where the drinks were and were told “you’re not the only ones waiting you’ll have to be patient.”

A fantastic venue offering great food choice! Although we had to wait a long time for our food to be served (as they had forgotten our order) they were very apologetic and the food was delicious! I will definitely go back!

There is very small food options. Only like 2/3 vegetarian mains. Which had all run out. So I had chips. Needs more stalls. It’s no where near digbeth dining club. Which I loved and really miss. The food and c**ktails are very limited. Unless you want Japanese or roast Meat Considering it’s a spin off DDC and we came with that expectation. However still had a good time and enjoyed the jam donut shots. They are my fav. But strongly recommend the food be improved. Burgers and pizza with more veggie options. Etc
