Review of Hockley Social Club
Went along with a friend. Car park for £2.50 all day parking cross the road from the venue as well as free road parking outside. Walking distance from Snow hill Station.
Large seating area inside and outside. Nice relaxed atmosphere. My friend ordered her mains paid £10ish and received 3 small tacos. Tasted nice but she wasn't pleased with the size. Should have been prices more like £5/6. I ordered a rice and lamb dish with salad. Mines was better portion however lacked taste. We both ordered desert costing £6.50 these were generous portions we both couldn't finish it.
There were only 3 carts for main dishes and 1 for deserts. Less than digbeth location. Questioned waiter he said as they have just started up and not many people booked up but they will have more as months go on. Waiters were really friendly, nice and approachable. Would possibly return in 6 months.

Great place. Fab food: team messed up our drinks order and took way too long to get their head round what happened. Then tried to get us to pay again...?! It’d already come out my account!! Otherwise, loved it. Would return.

Review of Hockley Social Club
Music was too loud trying to shout to eachother to talk as if it was put on to drown out people talking. Had high expectations from previous digbeth dining venue to be really disappointed. The food options were so limited nothing could be altered or changed in the orders. Hardly any c**ktails to choose from. Ended up spending £40 on a very average night. Would not attend again however the venue itself was very nice.

This was way better than I expected, the service was really good considering we were there on a busy bank holiday weekend, the food was amazing, drinks choices were varied and the venue itself looked fab!
would absolutely recommend for any occasion, whether its a date or taking the kids out for an exciting dinner.
Loved it.
