Review of Just the Tonic Comedy Club - Birmingham
I've seen a lot of comedy shows mainly in theatres and bigger venues. There needs to be more of these comedy nights, every act was hilarious and got to see my favourite Aurie Styla. Good venue plent my of opportunity to get drinks and a great atmosphere.

Review of Just the Tonic Comedy Club Birmingham
The venue is awful, the sound doesn’t travel well, they say last entry is 7:30 but people were still coming in well after 8pm when the show had started. The drinks were extortionate & there was always a massive queue with only 2 people serving. Avoid, go to a better venue like the glee club or hockley social club!!! You’ll have a better night that you will here!

Review of New Year\'s Eve Comedy Special - Birmingham
The comedy on offer was of an okay standard and was enjoyable. However, I was extremely disappointed with what I felt was a misleading description of the event. The comedy event was advertised to last from 7.30pm to 1am and I had booked in the thought that this would be an entertaining night of comedy to see in the new year. However, the comedy show finished at 9.30pm at which point attendees were ushered out of the room by event security. We were told we were welcome in the room downstairs but this was a nightclub. We thought we had paid for a seat for the evening but there was no seating downstairs as this had all been reserved for other parties. As such, the only options available to us were to spend the rest of the evening in a nightclub or to leave. Further, when some patrons asked if they could leave to get some food (as none was on offer at the venue) and then return, they were told they would have to cue and pay for re-entry. A large number of other attendees at the comedy show also expressed their displeasure and confusion at how early the show finished and what was included. This resulted in a large number of people leaving and heading home long before midnight. I am also confused as to where the advertised end time of 1am came from as staff indicated that the club was open until 4am. In addition, when we arrived we paid £4.50 for a bottle of peroni. And we charged the same when we retunrned 30mins later. When we returned to the bar at 8.30pm, we were asked to pay £5 for a bottle. When we enquired as to why the price had increased., the bar staff said they did not know, they only press ‘peroni’ and the price comes up. As such, this was a good comedy show but was not the New Year experience I felt was advertised.
