Review of Digbeth Dining Club x Luna Springs Takeover
After planning to meet for Luna Springs x Digbeth dining club, my expectations were high. However, attending the Luna springs establishment a week prior, my expectations were low. The place was cramped, the staff looked moody and the tables were in dire need of a cleaning. So far so, I asked a member of staff for some spray, to which they responded they didn't have any. I had to go to the kitchen staff to ask for cleaning spray. I cleaned the table and within 10 minutes of being there, I left.
I digress! The venue Saturday was a far better experience than the week prior, the tables were fairly clean and the food was delicious! I will be ordering from the vegan kitchen on my lunch break again.
The negative of Luna springs was it took far too long for people to get served. Maybe adapt and have an online ordering system. With someone who potentially has ADHD, this was torcher. The drinks were nice and strong once we received them. Furthermore, the Tables were a bit too cramped together, making it impossible to get through if people were sitting on both sides. Finally, the rain made it difficult for me to want to step outside and get more food (which I would have done if the weather was better). I appreciate there's a tent but it only covers a short surface of the grounds. Lost a lot of money due to the weather and lack of protection, I left still hungry and purchased food elsewhere!
From my experience, I would give the venue a 1.5 but the overall experience 3/5 stars.

Absolutely loved the choice of food and drink, there was a good mix of people and vibe. Music wasn’t to my taste, would definitely come again though for the food alone. Chef shack was amazing!

Music kept being turned down then turned up, to the point it hurt your ears. Benches positioned outside were too close to the person behind, to the point that if someone wanted to get through the whole row had to move out. Food was incredible though!
