Review of Sum Cellar
First time and last time. I am quite disappointed to be honest. I wasn't sure what to expect but I expected a lot more than I got. The venue was a cellar environment, dark and dingy (gave off the right atmosphere). Seemed quite busy at first, then seemed to reduce in numbers quite quickly. The drinks and service was at a reasonable standard. Toilets weren't that clean but had hand was and toilet roll. A bonus!! The music was at the right level. The music was alright, nothing spectacular. I wanted new and fresh. Up to date. The thing that spoilt it for me were the people on the mick. They made no sense and interrupted tunes with absolute nonsense. If you are going to take over the mick then chat sense. Make the people listen and believe in your words. Words are powerful, use them wisely. Take time and brush up your knowledge of the world. Take note from previous rappers, mick MCs. Nothings ruins a good vibe like a loud of 'YEAH' 'FAM' and gobbledygook. BE REAL.
Overall I was with a good crowd and had fun - always do - regardless but never afraid to say how it really is.
