Review of MADE Festival 2019
Disappointed - the dnb acts is North base were mad and chase and status were epic just like when I saw them last.... But and a big but it was unorganised as f**k.... The security at for entrance was just diabolical... Chris Headon (head of security of the event) of ap security was incredibly unprofessional and just rude, it appeared he was looking for any reason for a fight and he caused a minor issue into a big issue because he had an ego... I asked for his sia number but he refused.... If you're doing your job then you wouldn't need to refuse guving your number... To me he was exploiting his position.... I explained my situation and gave a reasonable and logical solution to the situation but no he chose to be difficult even when I approached him at the end proving that I wasn't lying about my vip wrist band, all he could say was I didn't say you were lying but he did... I found security unreasonable, not will to give a second chance to anyone, I understand that they have to deal with the same scenario over and over agin but they're being paid.... If you don't like the job don't take it... It was unorganised tbh... Tokens for drinks only but cash for food with only 1 cashpoint is just utter BS. To make matters worse the sound system in the whole event was just s**t.... F all bass and the mod bass and treble were just weak... You had to be in the first quarter by the stage to get any decent sound... Honestly it was a disaster of an event. The acts and people were great but everything else was utter rubbish... Especially the head of security... His attitude sticks and even his staff say he's a d**khead.... He was looking for a fight and he was acting like he's untouchable... But he forgets this wasnt a hip hop festival, we come for the music not for fights and pretending to be alpha males.... In short wicked acts, wicked vibes and peeps but s**t everything else... 4/10

Review of MADE Festival 2019
Great venue !
The token / card / cash business needs to be looked at, scratch the tokens !! To obtain tokens you needed to buy them and the card machines were all down. The food stalls would let you use card / cash but to buy a drink it has to be a token? Seems pointless having tokens purely for the bar. I’m tempted to say scratch the card machine or boost the WiFi...
