Review of Roller Jam
The venue was nice and staff friendly.
Deliberately chose a themed night because of the music but after asking when the music would start we were informed that there was no DJ and requests were being taken. However it was not explained how to give these requests and music seemed to be chosen by a small group of people who dominated the disco.
Although they were impressive to watch these individuals dominated the floor and I felt uncomfortable skating as a beginner as I often felt unsafe. I saw multiple people get knocked over and often people skated backwards very fast, appearing to be more focused on the videos they were making than who may be around.
Although there was a crew member on at times this did not appear to be consistent. However when they were on they did seem very helpful, teaching people to skate and showing them what to do.
I feel I would’ve enjoyed the evening more if the music was as advertised and everyone’s abilities were taken into consideration and respected.

Review of Roller Jam Skate all Afternoon for £5
The workers were all so nice, and people were friendly. I felt very comfortable as a beginner skater and managed to get the hang of it after a few tries. I got helped by workers when I fell. I would definitely go again but this time as a better skater.
